Directions to the Medieval Festival

From the North

Take I-91 south to exit 14 (Rt. 113). Take a right at the end of the ramp onto Rt. 113 west, and head up the hill to Thetford (just under a mile). At the top of the hill, take a left on Academy Road. The Thetford Green is on the right.

From the South

Take I-91 north to exit 14 (Rt. 113). Take a left at the end of the ramp onto Rt. 113 west, and head up the hill to Thetford (just under a mile). At the top of the hill, take a left on Academy Road. The Thetford Green is on the right.

Local Directions

From Hanover: Take Rt. 10A (West Wheelock St.) across Ledyard Bridge to Norwich. Take a right onto I-91 North to exit 14. Take a left at the end of the ramp onto Rt. 113 west, and head up the hill to Thetford (just under a mile). At the top of the hill, take a left on Academy Road. The Thetford Green is on the right.

From Lyme: Take East Thetford Road across the bridge into East Thetford. Turn right on Rt. 5 and then take an immediate left onto Rt. 113. Follow Rt. 113 west for just over two miles, up the hill to Thetford. At the top of the hill, take a left on Academy Road. The Thetford Green is on the right.

From Sharon/Strafford: Take Rt. 132 East, through South Strafford village. Turn left onto Tucker Hill Road in Thetford (just before Gove Hill Rd.). Follow Tucker Hill Rd. to Thetford Center, and at the end of the road take a right onto Rt. 113 East and head up Thetford Hill. Turn right onto Academy Road. Open Fields is the second building on the left. From Chelsea/Vershire: Take Rt. 113 East, through Thetford Center and up Thetford Hill. Turn right onto Academy Road. The Thetford Green is on the right.

Festival Parking

Generous parking is available at the Thetford Elementary School and Thetford Academy, both a short walk to the Thetford Green. Limited parking spaces are also available along Academy Road (east side, opposite the green) - please be considerate and leave these spaces for visitors with mobility concerns.

NO PARKING for the Festival is allowed on Library Road, on the west side of Academy Road (the side that runs along the green), in the Latham Library Parking Lot, or in the First Congregational Church's Parking Lot.
